With this aim we started our journey, in the beginning of 2016, and today we stand announcing the launch of PEOPLE CONNECT (PC). People connect is all about providing convenience to KE employees. It is a fast and accurate HR service delivery model, enabling and empowering employees to manage their lives at KE at their own terms. I am extremely honored to be part of the core launch team. It was a rollercoaster ride from the day PC was conceptualized, with lots of excitement and hard work. I hope in times to come, we achieve new challenging milestones and keep improving.
As we move towards an 'Enabling' environment for the whole organization, People Connect is an initiative which will pave the way forward. It is first of its kind initiative in the market and I am sure it will immensely help in bridging the communication between HR and employees.
I have been with Team KE for a quite some time now, and loving every bit of energy and Josh.

Conceiving the execution of a thought, building teams who live the idea, and eventually, making a mere idea a reality, without the existence of local precedents and without compromising on daily tasks and other projects; this is what has made People Connect an exciting journey. PC execution is a signature milestone in my career that complements my passion for achieving new horizons in service excellence through continuous transitions. Wow, it really has been a rollercoaster ride and an electrifying experience!

Through People Connect, K-Electric is able to take a crucial step towards its vision of giving back to the people who are and have been responsible for energy disbursement, which moves Life in Karachi. People Connect is of the People, by the People and for the People; and I pray that it remains forever. Ameen.
I have been associated with HR/IR function in KE since 2009 and have seen it moving from one stage to another. For the last one year, it has been undergoing a value-driven/cultural change program, which seeks to transform KE into a people-centric organization, optimizing gross welfare of its stake holders.
People Connect is destined to hold a pivotal role in this process and I wish it full success.
Developing people connect premises was a challenge for the team as the basic expectation was to deliver a vibrant , colorful , lively , friendly and cosy environment to our in house customers. This is a unique office set up in KEs landscape and is giving the message of CARE to its employees. The place reflects KEs new image and approach towards its employees.
Facilities and Works Department
I feel what makes KE stand out is that every single employee has a stake in the organization's success. In IR we are focused on creating an environment featuring harmonious working relations across employment levels, maintaining industrial peace, and achieving synergies enabling the Company achieve its true potential.
The revamped HealthCare function is a great example of an enabling initiative to promote vitality and maintenance of a healthy workforce.
KE's challenging organizational landscape is instrumental in preparing us to rise to any difficulty that we may encounter. We wish to motivate employees for a better performance and to encourage them to go above and beyond.

I joined KE in June 2016 as a Deputy Manager and am currently looking after the IT part of People Connect. It has been a roller coaster ride right from the start; it has involved ordering of IT equipment's both locally and online, development and configuration of Ticketing Management System, development of People Connect Portal, SMS Integration and Call Center software and hardware setup to name a few. I would also like to highlight the efforts of all other departments who have worked day and night to make this idea of "People Connect" come true.

People connect Portal will improve existing HR Service Delivery by providing easy-to-access E-Services and information to employees, and by moving towards automation. This will not only positively impact the quality of service delivery at the time of onboarding and separation, but also HR query-management. It will be a completely new experience for KE employees.
